Kazi, a third standard failed young man from Mustang dreams of marrying Maiya, daughter of his maternal uncle by any means.
Kabaddi is a romantic comedy movie. Dayahang Rai is appeared in the lead role along with Nischal Basnet among others. The story of Kabaddi starts with Kaji (Dayahang Rai) trying to impress Maiya (Rishma Gurung) & marry her.
The film opens with the continuous attempt of Kaji to persuade Maiya for his love. Kaji, in order to impress Maiya, is getting gentleman and trying to be smart.
Meanwhile, Bibek arrives from Kathmandu.
Then Maiya starts to fall in love with the handsome guy from the city Bibek. Now, Kazi is in more trouble in the fear of loosing his love one Maiya.
Bibek and Maiya together run away from the village and Kazi starts chasing them and reach Kathmandu city, but could not find them. Meanwhile Bibek shows his real face and confess that he don’t love Maiya. They were not running together but he was kidnapping Maiya to blackmail her dad to return his money.
Ambir Gouchan is Kaji’s maternal uncle, Maiya’s dad. Ambir Gouchan, the con man. Ambir comes to know about his daughter being kidnapped.
Afterwards, Kaji meets his uncle and gives their best to find Maiya. Kazi faces many obstacles but still goes on and finds her and free her from the kidnappers.
Now, What will happen to Maiya & Kazi’s love story? Does she start to fall in love with Kazi? What about Bibek’s Money? Is that deferred or decayed?
Kabaddi will give the answer at its cinematic climax.
