Bolivian and Guatemalan Experience on IP Rights on Constitution Making.
Between 9–25 March 2010, ILO provided support to a delegation consisting of Indigenous Nepalese CA members and experts to visit Bolivia and Guatemala on a two-week study tour to learn and exchange experiences on how the principles of ILO Convention No. 169 have been included and applied in constitution making and peace building processes in Bolivia these two countries.
It is hoped that the knowledge gained from the study tour can be used constructively in the ongoing constituent assembly processes in Nepal, particularly with regard to finding workable models for some of the key issues being discussed by the ten thematic committees of the Constituent Assembly.
