  • Tshering Rhitar Sherpa

    Chairman/Producer

    Tsering Rhitar Sherpa has been producing films since 1997. His debut film “The Spirit Doesn’t Come Anymore”, a documentary film profiling an old Tibetan shaman, earned him the Best Film Award in FILM SOUTH ASIA – festival of South Asian documentary films, and Best Indigenous Filmmaker of the Year at Parnu Anthropological Film Festival, Estonia. In 2000, he made his first feature film “Mukundo” (Mask of Desire), a co-production of Mila Productions (P) Ltd. and NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), which was widely shown in International Film Festivals, and was Nepal’s Official Entry for Academy Awards (OSCAR) in Best Foreign Language Film Section in 2000. Since then Tsering Rhitar produced many high quality films that went on to win awards and shown in various international film festivals.

  • Tsering Choden

    Producer/Line Producer

    Tsering Choden is a Kathmandu-based independent filmmaker and producer. Her break-out film was Democracy Is… in 2009 that won the inaugural worldwide Democracy Is Video Challenge from the South and Central Asian region. Over the years, Tsering Choden has worked as the chief producer in many Nepali and international films, TV serials and reality shows.

    Logistics & Administration Officer

    Krishna Dhakal is the Office Administrator and takes care of logistics in productions. With his extensive experience in organizing trekking and tours in Nepal for over past 10 years, smooth operation of all the production matters is assured.

  • Sabina Basnet

    Post Production Manager

    With several feature films and many documentary films to her credit, Sabina is a highly skilled editor. She manages all the post production work.

  • Sangam Magar

    Location Manager

    Sangam Magar has an extensive experience in managing location research, scouts and filming. He is also been supporting the Indigenous Film Archive (IFA) since 2008 in the position of the Festival Coordinator for Nepal International Indigenous Film Festival (NIIFF).

  • Chime Tashi

    Technical Officer

    Chime Tashi is a trained web programmer and a designer. He is also the data-manager.
